MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
I want to welcome everyone to the Sixth Annual Lanark County Western Horse Club. It is my great pleasure to represent the club presidency for 2009. This year has lots of great things to offer so be sure to check the dates and all the special events on our website. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our past President Karen Bernique for her dedication and support in 2008.
I would like to thank in advance the new 2009 committee members and a very special thanks to the committee members who have maintained their status from 2008. We would also like to thank our Sponsors and Volunteers for their continued support to this club - very much appreciated.
In addition to the LCWHC shows, we have scheduled a 1 day Performance Clinic and a 1 day Reining Clinic in late April, the knowledge and expertise is immeasurable and will be sure "to get you started on the right foot". The clinics will be held at Little Rahane Farm. Next we have a Spring Hunter Pace & Pony Express in May hosted by Benhaven Stable which guarantees to be a fun filled day particularly for your equine partner as they get a chance to "hit the trails", a great way to get conditioned for upcoming shows and have a mental vacation from the ring. In the fall we have a Poker Run scheduled at MaryEllen McLellan's farm. The trails are picturesque and it is a great way to meet new friends and take in all the beauty the fall has to offer. Following that we will wrap up the riding with another Hunter Pace at Benhaven Stable. So mark your calendars and we hope to see you at the upcoming events. Check the website for the dates and locations or contact anyone of our committee members for all of the details.
All of our shows will be held at the Perth Fairgrounds so be sure to bring your enthusiasm and come out and enjoy some of the best equine entertainment the Perth area has to offer!
